EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. With training camp a month away, the Minnesota Vikings made a move to add more veteran depth to the defensive line.Minnesota swapped a pair of defensive lineman Thursday, waiving rookie defensive tackle Terrell Resonno and signing 6-year veteran defensive end Jeff Charleston. Charleston, 29, spent the fast four seasons with the New Orleans Saints, starting one game during that time.Charleston had nine tackles and one sack in 10 games for New Orleans last season. His best season was in 2010 when he had 26 tackles and three sacks while playing all 16 games. The 6-foot-4, 265-pound defensive end was undrafted out of Idaho State in 2006 and played his first season with the Indianapolis Colts in 2007. Charleston will compete for a backup spot behind All-Pro defensive end Jared Allen, who also played at Idaho State and was drafted in 2004.
